She also has the tendency to be rude, abrasive, cocky and aggressive. She is from Wutai, which was once shrouded in mystery and tradition, but is now more a tourist and resort town. Despite the fact that Yuffie is actually one to shun tradition, she has spent the last six years of her life stealing materia and trying to restore her home to its former glory. Yuffie has been sent to a 'special school in a faraway land' in hopes that she'll grow up a little and act more like a young lady.
